BARRIE BAR: DONALEIGHS IRISH PUBLIC HOUSE REVIEW

Thursday nights are quite possibly my favourite nights of the week. You may all be wondering why that is but give me a couple minutes to explain.

Thursday nights are essentially the start of the weekend. Think about it, just how much work does anyone get done on a Friday? Not too much at all, so why not take advantage of an additional evening to get out to have some fun with friends, and make some new ones as well. Secondly, those that go out Thursday nights are always looking for a good time. If you are single, Thursdays are the nights you should be going out because those that are not single are staying in with their significant other. It is a Win Win for both boys and girls.

One of my favourite Thirsty Thursday destinations in the Barrie area is Donaleighs Irish Public House, located at 28 Dunlop Street East in Barrie. The awesome thing about Donaleighs Irish Public House is that it has a great after work hours crowd. There is no need to have to wait until 11pm for the place to fill up but rather from right after the work day until just after midnight, it is filled with young working professionals grabbing a bite to eat and a couple drinks. Along with having one of the best pub atmospheres among Barrie bars, Donaleighs Irish Public House always has great acoustic entertainment on Thursday nights. If your in the mood for a bite, I recommend the Irish Nachoes, they will not disappoint you.

Hopefully I have made you think differently Thursday nights, and just how fun they can be.

Until next time,

Stay hydrated.
